Mull to Loch Lomond

We left Mull on Sunday having stayed the previous night in the car park in the town of Tobermory and fell asleep listening to the live band that was playing at the nearby Restaurant and Bar. There are excellent washroom facilities at the Marina, 20p to use the loos and washrooms and once in £2 to use the shower, all of which are very clean. There is also a small laundry facility too, washing machine and tumble dryer.

We caught the ferry from Fishnish to Lochaline and took the A884 to Ardgour and caught the Corran ferry. The drive is very pleasant and about 50% of it is single track with passing places. We then followed the A82 all the way to Loch Lomond. You pass through beautiful Glen Coe worth a stop if you have time to take the cable car up the mountain and stop off in a laybay to take some photos down the valley, both of which we didn’t do!

We stopped off at the Falls of Falloch, known as Rob Roy’s Bathtub and at the bottom of the fall is a great pool in which you can swim and dive, if you so wish and which some were doing!

Our final stop of the day was at Loch Lomond Holiday Park at Inveruglas on the shores of Loch Lomond. A very good site with hard standing level pitches with all services and very good washroom facilities which are lovely and warm!
