Peñiscola

We’ve spent the past week at Camping Eden in Peñiscola doing various activities such as going to the beach and swimming in the sea…

Sitting by the pool…

Camping Eden Swimming Pool

Taking a bike ride along the Trails of Irta, an activity Tony and I have done before.  Jill did fall off her bike but that was because she stopped and forgot she didn’t have her stabilizers on!  No harm done, a grazed elbow, a few bruises and a hurt pride!

The route is mostly off road with one very steep incline up and down both ways and you can find more details of the route we took by clicking on the following link. https://rosiepike.wordpress.com/2016/04/18/the-trails-of-irta/

Walking to the old town and visiting the castle on the top…

Cycling to Benicarlo for a coffee taking the fabulous cycle path that runs alongside the beach from Peñiscola … Ooh and shopping at Lidl!

Driving to the hill top town of Morella, separate post on this.  https://rosiepike.wordpress.com/2017/05/03/mor

We love Camping Eden for various reasons, location, cleanliness of facilities, loads of hot water in the showers, friendly staff, decent size pitches, swimming pool, outside sink and tap on each pitch, 10amp electric and has a friendly feel about the whole site.  It is a site we will return to again, of that I am sure!

The weather has been good, plenty of sunshine and today we have moved on from Peñiscola and are now based at Camping Joan in Cambrils for the next 4 nights.
