This morning we left Lake Garda in Italy and this evening we are at Lake Constance in Germany. I feel as if all I have seen today is lakes, tunnels, mountains, motorways and Tony!
A good drive from Italy to Germany except that you will laugh, Tony decided to fill up with fuel on the Italian side of the Austrian border, only to find out as we crossed into Austria that the diesel was 30 cents cheaper per litre in Austria! At our next stop Tony calculated it out to have cost us €18 more!!! It has taken him all afternoon to get over it!
Tomorrow we head for Strasbourg as Tony wants to taste the beer that he discovered in a bar 2 years ago with Alan and Gloria, I hope we can find it!!

Seem to remember the road north out of lake Garda is it one we used? In Strasbourg is it the place on the corner by the river? If I remember right it’s near the university along from the cathedral. It was a great night out roses birthday. Make sure tony wears ‘the Pants’ for his return to the UK. It’s a bit Colder now so maybe they should be over his trousers, like superman. The country awaits.

No, we did different road out of Lake Garda as we then went to Lake Como but it is the same road we drove out of Innsbruck to go to Venice! Yes same place by canal and university where the ‘old’ man fell asleep at the table! Tony is not Superman so will not be wearing his pants outside his trousers!
