Padstow

On Saturday we woke up to a thick sea mist and drove into Padstow where the weather was brighter.

Once a sleepy fishing port, Padstow has turned into a chic cosmopolitan corner of Cornwall with fancy restaurants, fashion boutiques and seaside shops.  We took a walk to the headland and wandered through the town stopping for the traditional Cornish pasty and multi-flavoured ice-cream, whilst listening to a very good Frank Sinatra sounding busker.

On our return to the campsite, the sea mist had cleared so we sat outside enjoying the view and soaking up the sunshine before ending the day with a BBQ and watching the sunset.
